Theater Club story
September 13, 2018
Another interesting booth I visited at RVCC on September 13, 2018, was the Professional Theater Club booth, run by Cara Morris. Cara is a very enthusiastic student who clearly loves the theater. She was happy to tell me that “students pay half price for world class events” at RVCC. Since the quality of the shows and entertainment are at such a high standard, people from all of New Jersey and the tri-state area come to see the shows at RVCC. Shows appear throughout the year and seasonally, such as the Nutcracker in the winter. Cara said that “people around the world perform”, which is why RVCC has become so popular. Example areas of entertainment include dance, comedy, puppetry, youth and family events and sensory friendly shows for children and adults with special needs. With a two-level theater that seats 984 people, Cara claims there will be a fun time for all who attend.
